Cesisp has provided consulting services analysing the Clean Energy Package. We analyze the main innovations to the organizational structure of the electricity market deriving from the new package containing proposals for directives and regulations known as the Clean Energy Package (CEP) which is the backbone of the European energy strategy. The CEP aims to increase the sustainability, competitiveness and security of the energy market through five interconnected dimensions: energy security, solidarity and trust, integration of the energy market, energy efficiency, decarbonisation of the economy, research and innovation.
