With the publication of the new interim decarbonization targets to 2040, the Commission is restoring a central role for CCS/CCUS technologies in achieving the NET ZERO targets to 2050. However, CO2 transport and storage requires a clear strategy on the structural arrangements and economic regulatory profiles of the new service. With this seminar, CESISP initiates an initial reflection on the state of play at the European level through a discussion with market and institutional players.
